Omega-3 fatty acids, which are famously known to promote cardiac health, may also reduce hip problems. Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in:

  • Plant and nut oils like olive, canola, and flaxseed oils
  • Leafy green vegetable like broccoli and lettuce
  • Walnuts and pecans
  • Flaxseeds
  • Fatty fish, like salmon, herring, anchovies, mackerel, sardines, and tuna
  • Cold-water

Certainly, proper lifestyle and safe medication or treatment may result in a successful relief of hip problems. Living a healthy lifestyle alone may clear the way for hip replacement surgery, which has been linked to safety issues. DePuy hip recall has been implemented by manufacturers like Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiary DePuy Orthopaedics because of flawed hip devices.
